LMI-ASB: - There will be a lunch time activity this Friday, September 30th, in the amphitheater during both lunches. We will draw names of the winners of the Helen Grace Target Gift Cards Contest. Eligible participants had to turn in money for their 3rd box of candy by last Friday, September 23rd. We will be choosing four winners who will each receive a $25.00 gift card to Target.

Helen Grace Fundraiser: - The last day for the Helen Grace Fundraiser is this Friday, September 30th. We want to remind students to get their money turned in as soon as possible. Be reminded that money is still owed even if it is not turned in by this Friday, September 30th. We will make accommodations for those students who need more time and have sold several boxes and are working toward a specific prize. Please try to sell all the candy if the box is open. We have to pay for all boxes that are checked out! Students who are having any problems, or need to trade candy can do so in C-3.

All 8th Graders – who are planning to attend the Washington D. C. trip and want to participate in the first fundraiser need to turn their signed D. C. contracts and yellow permission to fundraise form in to Mrs. Drulias in C-3 as soon as possible. The fundraiser will begin this Monday, October 3rd. Those students who have turned in their contracts and yellow permission to fundraise will be called the last 15 minutes of blocks 2, 4, and 6 to go to Room C-3 to receive fundraiser instructions and materials. This is the only time Ms. Drulias is available to meet with the students. The sale will end on Monday, October 17th.

We have begun to tally spirit points on Fridays for those who have qualifying items which includes dog tags, lanyards, P.E. sack packs, and T-shirts or jackets that specifically name an LMI activity such as Band, AVID, Dual, and Pathways, etc. P. E. clothes will NOT be counted.

C-3 Student Store: - Don’t forget that located in C-3 is your LMI Student Store. School supplies are always available as long as the door is open. Sixth grade students may come to purchase items during their lunch. As long as C-3 is open students are welcome to come in.

Equipment Check Out: - Students can check out equipment during nutrition and lunch from C-3. In order to check out any equipment students can leave a student ID in the pocket hanger. They can leave last year’s LMI ID or their ID from the school they attended last year. If students do not have an ID, they will need to leave their backpacks or some other item. New equipment has arrived and is available for check out. Please be sure to return what you borrow and you take care to keep everything in good condition. Do not kick the balls anywhere near the C-building or they will be gone. We cannot retrieve balls from the roof. The lower field is now open during second lunch only for sixth grade. C-3 is excited to be able to put out our table games. Many of our leadership students cleaned and refurbished them so you can enjoy playing these games. Several of the disks used to play our board games have disappeared. They are VERY hard to find and expensive to replace. If they all disappear, that will be the end of carroms for the year. Please take care to return ALL equipment you borrow.

Yearbook Pre-Sales: - We have begun the presale of our 2016 Trojan yearbook. The current pre-sale price is $35.00 and will be in effect until winter break. After winter break the price goes up so buy yours now and save money.

IN-N-OUT: - Mark your calendars for Monday, March 13, 2017 when IN-N-OUT Burger will be on our campus!
